Stumbled across choices one day that I happened to be in the area during lunch. Place looked clean and the menu looked interesting. Julie helped me decide on the Insane Mex dish on a bed of greens. I have been trying more vegetarian options lately and have made various recipes with soy chorizo, so I was curious how it would compare, it was excellent. Better than that, I am a big consumer and believer in kombucha, they had a delicious mango one on draft. I took a cold pressed green juice for my friend, and he enjoyed it very much. Julie was extremely pleasant and helpful when it came moment to pick. Will definitely return!

Great place to eat healthy. The staff is very friendly, especially Jennie and there is always free stuff to sample. The first time I went was after a bicycle ride. There wasn't much bike parking outside. Anyways I had the trio pancakes and the let you make the different pancakes which were all amazing. I went again today for lunch and ate the Sergio's bowl and my wife are the California salad. I sampled the cocoberry smoothie and some teas. I gotta say i am a carnivore but I love this place because you leave feeling healthy and most importantly full. I gave it a five because it is everything for its type of restaurant. It's fast, well price, good service, and great tasting food.

Today I ordered a mental lentil wrap from Choices Organic Cafe. I tried to order it for delivery but I could not because they only deliver within one mile and I am 1.7 miles away. It's a real shame, because I'm right down Ponce so I'm not sure why they have such a strict delivery zone. Today's mental lentil was one of many mental lentils that I've had from Choices and every time I think I should start eating one every day. I probably would if they delivered to me. I don't think I've ever been able to order anything else on the menu because I think I may miss out, even though the other food may be just as good. My mental lentil came with a small garden salad. As usual, the meal was tasty, fresh and I felt great eating it knowing that it is healthy for me. I decided to save half of my mental lentil wrap because it is very filling and half really is enough (although sometimes I don't have the willpower to leave half of it for later). I'm excited to have the rest later and will be ordering from Choices again soon (but not tomorrow because I don't usually want to drive to pick something up).

The place is really good for lunch, I loved the casual and modern atmosphere, clean place, great food... the reason why I put 3 stars is because of the price, $15 for a lentil salad box or a wrap seems to be too much even for organic and good ingredients. I can make myself the same food at home for half price... I guess sometimes you have to pay for eatig healthy but, I don't think is always justified.

I absolutely loved this place. The idea, concept, food... very modern, organic, healthy and trendy to this generation. Coral Gables is a great spot for them but I'd love to see more around Miami or more like them. It definitely attracts a young crowd, the music and ambiance is fairly peaceful, clean and friendly. They have great breakfast options so I'll have to go back and try. I wanted a light healthy dinner and that's what I got with great taste. I got a quinoa bowl with tofu, pito de gallo, onions all on a bed of greens. This white sauce over it was a killer! So good... Breakfast, lunch or dinner, healthy, fast and casual this is a place to try.

First time here at this location, I saw a Choices in Little Havana (27th) but never got a chance to try it. I'm glad they opened one in Gables. :) There are now definitely a number of smoothies and healthy/ organic quick eateries in Gables to choose from. Upon entering, The place is casual, clean. inviting. All menu items can be wrapped in your choice of whole grain wrap, gluten free wrap, salad, quinoa bowl, or wrapped in collards. I got the mentil lentil wrap and it was delicious, filling, and I felt good/healthy eating it. The tres cakes (which are served til 11 during the week and til 3 on wknds) satisfied my want for something brunch-esquely sweet. Overall, with a cold brewed coffee, our meal was over $30. For a casual meal, a bit on the pricey side. So Choices will be a once- in-a-while choice but I do def want to try some of their other menu items and smoothies :)

I am by no means vegan but choose to dine here, at minimum, twice a month. They are very well situated in an area of coral gables where there is always parking, plus they are very close to my office. While I have not tried all the dishes, I am nearly obsessed with both the insane mex and the mental lentil. And while I normally choose the salad or quinoa bowl option, I really can't dig the price on this. Getting either as a salad means spending at minimum $18 on lunch. I would pay the same for the filet salad at Hillstone, but this is sit down service. Yes, the salad is both delicious and filling, but $18 on a salad is extremely steep. Forget about if you ordered the very delicious coco bliss smoothie.. This will bring you to a solid $30 lunch. The restaurant is always extremely clean and everyone that works there is efficient and helpful, so I guess it's worth the hefty price tag that goes along with it.

I have been to this place a few times, The California is very good. You can taste all of the ingredients are fresh. Service is also fantastic, they are nice and knowledgeable. A quick healthy lunch. It is a bit pricier than other places, however it really reflects in the quality of their food. Did not mind paying more at all!

Finally last Saturday I was in the area and decided to check out the new Choices. Happy to see another vegan location opened! However, I must say I was disappointed. Let me explain. I arrived at the exact moment they were installing the sign outside, so I chose to sit in the backyard patio. But before that, I ordered something call 'No soy El Capitan', over a bowl of quinoa. So far so good. I sat outside. Two tables filled the unappealing area. They must take advantage of this area, and make it more welcoming. The table and chairs were very dirty. I took some napkins and cleaned. Hmmm.... Then, 15 minutes later my dish arrived. First impression, great. It looked delicious. But it wasn't. The coconut "meat" pattie was burned and very dry. It came with chipotly mayo, that did not help because made the combination even drier. I was not a happy camper. My suggestion? Have dressing options, like balsamic or vinaigrette. Not everybody it's a chipotly mayo fan. And please make sure your chefs doesn't burn the food. Total bill was $17 (they add the tip automatically), and I left unsatisfied. I'll give this Choices a second try, since I totally support vegan businesses. Will see...

Same great, organic, vegetarian, high-quality food concept now opened in Coral Gables. A good differentiator with the other Choices locations is that they upscaled the decoration and concept. The inside and outside are welcoming to the senses. As always, you will find a well thought variety of options for salad, bowls and wraps. A lacking factor that i have found in every location, is that, regardleds the staff number, the operation runs with a little bit of disorganization, thus the service is kind of slow. This is not something particular of this location but more in general. Overall a great place

Whose New Year's resolution list does not include eating healthier? I think we can all agree it is hard to find a place where the food is healthy, flavorful and guilt-free. This is a vegan/organic restaurant. It offers a variety of meals that can be served on a wrap, salad or quinoa bowl. It also offers breakfasts, desserts and smoothies. I tried the Mentil Lentil on a quinoa bowl which had black beans, avocado, plantains, quinoa, salsa, spinach and some other greens. It included a sauce that I did not pour onto the dish because I felt it didn't need it. Overall the food and service were good but a little on the pricier side around $17 per bowl.

What a difference from my previous experience at the East Side Choices location. Here we were greeted by an amazing lady who was ready to help and suggest menu items. I'am a fan of the VA's Insane Mex bowl but allergic to the Walnut Cheese and she kindly suggested I get it with Mayo! hello... That was glorious... Make it to this location... It rocks!

Food is good but service is terrible. The location of 27th ave is MUCH better and I recommend you visit that one instead. This location charges for substitutions. Ive eaten at all locations and this is the only one that charges for substitutions. Service is rude here.

I've never been vegan but I have always been a big fan of choices. I used to frequent there location near Brickell until they unfortunately closed it down so it's nice to have one in the Gables. I've had a pretty good variety of things from Choices and it has all been great. And the customer service has always been great. My two favorite items are the mental lentil wrap and the pizza! It always amazes what can be created without any dairy or meat. And even though the food may not have the ingredients that some of us are used to, it doesn't take away from the quality or flavor! Choices is a must try for those who haven't yet - don't be put off by the vegan menu!

I went to Choices for the first time for lunch with a friend of mine a few weeks ago. I was very excited to try the restaurant since i'd heard such rave reviews. We shared the Mental Lentil on a whole grain wrap and the simply green salad. The Mental Lentil was DELICIOUS, but the salad was just okay. For dessert we had little cookie dough balls that were very tasty. I definitely go back to Choices for the Mental Lentil and also would like to try the Pixsa and the nachos, but I don't think i'd order a salad again.

I have been in Miami for a bit now and craving a good smoothie all throughout this duration. I am Sorry Girl Scouts but the thinner mint is exactly what I was missing from my life. I have ordered 2 days in a row ubered over there gotten out paid and gotten in and out and on with my day! It is lovely especially in this Miami Heat.

This is one of the very few vegan places in Miami, and the food is really good! but the prices not so much...i wish i could come here every day but sadly I can't afford it. The chicken friend is my favorite, and the pizza after that. The cookies are delicious!! I want bring all of my friends here but were all in college and how can i invite my friend to lunch and make them pay 15 dollars for a wrap? I know the food is all organic and vegan but i still believe its a little over priced. $10 for oatmeal? I can buy a whole carton of that for 2 dollars. I feel like vegan places should be showing others that being healthy and living a vegan life style is more doable/affordable. I would highly recommend to try this place though if you can. For me it can only be an occasional treat.

Welcome to the neighborhood Choices. Ponce is getting to be the new Organic healthy place to eat in Miami. Choices has a 95% organic menu. I had Samantha's favorite "mental lentil wrap" which was delicious and made me feel healthier just eating it. With a KambuCha tea my meal was just over 20.00. Not cheap. But organic, vegan and tasty. I'll be back soon.

Food is awesome. Service is hit or miss. Used to be really polite and helpful but lately, the younger kids they hire are rude and surly.

I randomly walked into this spot while roaming around coral gables and decided to try their smoothie called "tropic escape". It was very refreshing and all natural. I'm looking forward to going back and trying one of their wraps soon! :)

After the long trek to get here and finally find parking, all I wanted was a cacao strength smoothie from their menu. No cacao left. Many smoothies offer this ingredient. I ask for it and substitute almond butter as I see this ingredient in a few other smoothies. None left. Cashier was nice though. Not worth the 30 min ordeal to get here. Should have gone to smoothie king.

Only reason I am even giving them two stars is because they serve vegan food and that is probably as good as it gets ... Today I received a acai bowl filled 1/3 with food the rest air ... And one slice of strawberry. When I asked why the servers response was .. Oh I ran out. And then someone generously added four more. If you are hungry do not go here or make sure you are being assisted by someone who isn't to lazy to cut more strawberries.

My friend brought me here after a couple of hours at the Venetian Pool, that being said, we were starving. I thought that when she mentioned a vegan restaurant I would have finished my plate wanting more food to satisfy my hunger but I was full and as happy as could be. The food is delicious! The prices are a liitttle high by a few dollars for my liking/ budget, however, it was DEFINITELY worth it. If this place was near my house then this is would be my go-to place for food. If the owners are reading this: please consider a location by Weston/ in Broward!

I started going to choices years ago at their downtown location, driving 30 minutes just to eat there. Then they opened Choices Kitchen and I've been going there for over a year. Finally they are now in Coral Gables. We are so excited. This is the best place in town so we headed out this morning for breakfast. We love everything we have ever eaten here. The Kind Slam is highly recommended for breakfast, and I love the VA'S Insane Mex is my all time favorite. The staff at the new place is very friendly and attentive. Just like their other locations. I'll be a regular here for sure!

Went there the first time today and really loved it the food was great (I had the mentil lentil wrap) but the service even better. Was greeted ver warmly and more importantly enthusiastically!! I was offered samples like the amazing coco-vanilla ice cream (vegan) and a free coffee that is not coffee... I give it 5 Stars for the service and good food. Unfortunately it is quite pricey, so it is not something I will be doing for lunch as much as I would want to....

It was still your manager though- not a customer's problem if your employee doesn't follow policy. They made a promise in writing- the right thing for you to do would have been to honor it. Ya.

This is a great alternative for those that don't like to eat meat. However, like everything in life that is organic and good for you, it comes with a hefty price mark up. I mean come on a lentil meat wrap and a "chorizo" wrap $33? Hmmmm that's pretty pricey for a quick lunch. I guess there will never be an affordable healthy organic place.

The ambiance is neat but as a restaurant not so cool. I'm personally vegan and I brought a non-vegan friend with me. The food was not worth the price we paid. It also gives veganism a bad image. The scrambled tofu eggs were too spiced and tasted horrible. The pancakes were okay along with the bacon. But I've had so much better.

I was in the area hoping to go to the new jugo fresh to get a smoothie but since jugo fresh was closed I decided to go to choices cafe instead . I ordered the berry love smoothie which is 10$ . The smoothie looked like it was being rushed when it was made. I got my smoothie and took a sip . Wow this smoothie was horrible ! It was not blended well at all . The smoothie had a crunchy consistency and did not taste good at all . The almond butter and date and cacao were not blended well through the smoothie . I was so mad that I wasted so much money on this smoothie when I could have gotten something better at jugo fresh . Definitely not going there ever again .

Went for the first time ever and I can definitely say it's not my last! I had The Kind Slam and it was amazing. I really hope Choices Cafe grows more and gets a location in the Miami Lakes area. Great food and great employees!

First off I'm really happy you're open on Sundays! It's so hard to find a vegan or vegetarian restaurant open on Sunday ... Evenings especially! Carrot cake muffins are insanely delicious! Monkey Business shakes are terrific! Mental Lentil is scrumptious!

So extremely happy Choices has come down south. Once again they have out done themselves. The quality and taste of each one of their meals is perfection. Without a doubt I would recommend this place to anyone with or without food restrictions.

Love it!!! The food tastes incredible. Just discovered this place 3 days ago and this is my 3rd consecutive visit. Their menu has many options, not just the typical things any vegan would expect. I'm not even vegetarian and I'm in love. Not many places offer organic foods, thank you Choices for setting an example for great quality foods

Great place for quick vegan food! I have been there twice and both the service and food were great. I am going back to try the mental lentil wrap and their vegan ice cream. I will update my review once I do.

The service here is very slow. I ordered a salad and it looked like a lot of people were just standing around not doing anything while I waited for a while. Definitely not a great grab-and-go place. The bathroom was not clean and out of paper towels. I got the chicken friend salad that was not good. Nothing special, maybe I didn't order the right thing but I will not be coming back.

  • A A.

The food was really good, pricey, but it's understandable since everything is organic. The staff was also very nice. Only complaint, but it's an important one, is that I saw one of the food preparers drop something on the floor, pick it up and she went back to prepping food without changing her gloves. She should have removed her gloves, washed her hands and put on some new gloves ..... otherwise it defeats the purpose of "health food". Hopefully they'll fix that. Otherwise the place was great.
